Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

LiquiLink is a link-in-bio and portfolio builder operated by LiquiLink. We help creators publish a polished online presence from a single short URL. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@liquilink.in.

2. What information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your full name, email address, and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

Portfolio content. Any text, links, images, or other content you add to your portfolio is stored so we can serve your public page. This content is visible to anyone who visits your portfolio URL.

Analytics data. We record page views and outbound link clicks on your portfolio. Each event stores an anonymised visitor identifier (derived from a browser cookie), the referring URL, browser name, operating system, device type, and timestamp. We do not store raw IP addresses in analytics events.

Uploaded images. If you upload a profile photo or company logo, the file is stored on our servers and served via a private token URL.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We store your chosen plan and activation dates but never handle raw card or bank details.

3. How we use your information

• To create and serve your public portfolio page.
• To provide you with analytics about visits and clicks on your portfolio.
• To process plan upgrades and maintain your subscription status.
• To send transactional emails such as OTP verification codes.
• To improve the product and diagnose technical issues.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. Cookies

We set a single analytics cookie (ll_vid) on portfolio visitor browsers to distinguish unique visitors across sessions. This cookie contains only a random identifier — no personal information. It expires after one year. We also use a session cookie for authenticated users to maintain login state.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with service providers that are necessary to operate the platform:

• Razorpay — payment processing for plan purchases.
• SMTP provider — transactional email delivery.

All providers are bound by data processing agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Analytics event history is capped at 2,500 events per portfolio on a rolling basis. If you delete your account, all your portfolios and associated data are permanently removed from our systems.

7. Your rights

You can access, update, or delete your portfolio content at any time from your dashboard. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, use the "Delete account" button on the dashboard. For any other data requests or questions, contact us at hello@liquilink.in.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. Outbound link tracking uses HMAC signatures to prevent spoofed tracking requests. Asset files are served via unguessable token URLs. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
